In 1936, our company was founded as Latex Glove Company and operated under that name for more than 50 years.  The name was changed to Saf-T-Gard International, Inc. to better reflect the company’s current product offering, but few companies possess the hand protection experience and expertise of Saf-T-Gard.

General requirements. Employers shall select and require employees to use appropriate hand protection when employees' hands are exposed to hazards such as those from skin absorption of harmful substances, severe cuts or lacerations, severe abrasions, punctures, chemical burns, thermal burns and harmful temperature extremes.
