CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Saf-T-Gard is expanding our customer service department and is currently looking for qualified candidates to assist our customers, sales representatives and support other company functions.

Essential duties include:

  • Processing incoming customer purchase orders, whether received by telephone, fax, e-mail, web, or postal mail.
  • Fielding incoming customer telephone calls to assist customers with placing orders, tracing shipments, and providing product information.
  • Handle issues, questions and follow-ups for customers.
  • Supporting the field sales force as needed by entering quotations, updating customer data, processing sample and literature requests.
  • Developing new business opportunities with existing customers as time and opportunities permit.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE

Saf-T-Gard is growing and looking for an experienced Inside Sales Representative to join our team. 

  • Primarily responsible for finding new business opportunities for our value-added safety products and services, while concurrently increasing our depth and breadth with existing customer accounts. This is seen as attainable by contacting targeted decision makers, researching and recommending various application-based safety products, providing quotes, and closing business.
  • Scope of product categories offered includes Personal Protective Equipment, (eye protection, hand protection, hearing protection, respiratory protection, head protection, protective clothing, protective footwear, ergonomics and fall protection) Electrical Safety, Facility Safety and First Aid to industrial end-users.
  • The majority of the business will be conducted over the phone and webinar platforms by creating, developing and driving sales strategies across various markets and targeted companies.
  • Previous inside sales experienced required.

PRICING SPECIALIST

Saf-T-Gard is looking for a talented Pricing Specialist.

  • This analyst will collect and analyze both internal and external data in order to create insightful reporting that shapes important strategic decisions.
  • We need an analyst who is capable of compiling and analyzing data from a range of sources in order to forecast sales trends.
  • The Pricing Specialist position works closely with company leadership, including sales and marketing.
  • Primary tasks are to support sales with periodic and on-demand reports to identify sales patterns and areas for pricing/margin improvement, comparing actual sales data to revenue projections and expectations.
  • Additionally, the analyst will assess market data, including competitors, to identify areas where the company can increase its efforts.
  • The analyst will review sales data to identify opportunities to increase profitability through margin enhancement or product shift.
  • The ideal candidate should be able to use key data-analysis methods and techniques (e.g., text analytics, data visualization, data mining and more) to discover useful information.
  • Pricing Specialist needs to have a good understanding of both the little details and the big picture.
  • He or she should understand how the minutiae of the business impacts the bigger picture.
  • Furthermore, he or she should know which strategies can be implemented to effectively push the business forward.
