Saf-T-Gard offers alternative sourcing programs, such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), to provide flexibility, reduce customers' need to stock inventory, optimize supply chain management, enhance productivity, minimize costs and accommodate customer short- or long-term scheduling requirements.
Saf-T-Gard will commit to maintaining mutually-agreed-upon inventory levels for our customers and will even create unique stock codes reflecting inventory requirements solely for the specified customer. In the event a change in inventory requirement occurs resulting in an increase of a particular item, Saf-T-Gard will utilize its standard/back-up stock to fill the customer’s requirements. The increased utilization will then trigger new minimum inventory levels, which will also be filled by the standard/back-up stock.
What’s more, customer-specified products and quantities can be delivered as needed or according to the customer’s set schedule – whichever is more convenient.
